To Honor and Preserve
the Past, Present & Future of the Chippewa Flowage:
To embrace its surroundings; To protect and enhance the water quality, fishery, flora and fauna. To promote the safe and proper use, and the aesthetic value of Chippewa Flowage. To remember that these waters are historic and they run through us from those that came before to those that will inherit what we leave behind.
To Honor and Preserve the Past, Present & Future of the Chippewa Flowage:
Thanks so much to Senator Kohl’s office for hosting a telephone conference with FERC. The one hour meeting was very imformative. FERC advises us that although the Power Company owns the Dam, they do not own the water. The water is owned by the People of the United States.
Lake is full that’s for sure. Great fishing
and recreating on the Flowage for the 4th… come on up and
spend some time relaxing and enjoying the quiet life.
